Spiritual Service:

Service is one of the four paths to realization to God:

• Jnana yoga: the path of the mind
  
• Raja yoga: the path or meditation
  
• Bhakti yoga: the path of the devotion
  
• Karma yoga: the path of service

The Gita teaches, that within the path of Karma Yoga (service) one renouces the fruits of ones labor, and works purely for the joy of serving God.

Scared Waters is the embodiment of the local spiritual community. And therefore relies upon that community to support it both financially and physically.

Opportunities for Service:

Spring is here and the yard at Sacred Waters is calling for spring clean up. This is a wonderful opportunity to get your hands in the dirt & reconnect with Mother Nature after being couped up over the winter. We could use help raking, picking up fallen branches, planting flowers & soon weeding.

We are also considering starting an herb garden. We will need help tilling the soil, planting the herbs, mulching & with the weekly maintenance making sure the herbs are watered & the garden weeded. If you would like to assist with this project, please contact Jeff at 574-255-6203.
